The article is from October 2009 and says (and I quote) "Target stores across the country are giving customers 5 cents for every reusable bag they use while shopping, in an effort to reduce the number of paper and plastic bags that get thrown away. " I plan to make sure to take my reusable bags in the next time I shop there! Keep in mind, even though it's just a nickel, "every penny saved is a penny earned."
